A DAY IN THE LIFE:
As an Electronic Assembler, you will play a vital role in building the advanced electronics that power Innoflight's cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll assemble flight hardware, follow detailed manufacturing processes, and help ensure every product meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and workmanship. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to mission-critical systems destined for space.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Builds Flight Hardware: Performs mechanical and electronic assembly of flight hardware, electronic components, and product chassis by following engineering drawings, manufacturing work instructions, and quality standards.
- Executes Precision Assembly: Uses a variety of hand tools and modern fabrication techniques to accurately assemble products while maintaining exceptional workmanship and attention to detail.
- Maintains Manufacturing Documentation: Keeps accurate build records, updates manufacturing travelers, and ensures production documentation is complete and current throughout the assembly process.
- Ensures Product Quality: Performs visual inspections of subassemblies and completed assemblies to verify workmanship, identify defects, and ensure products are free from foreign object debris (FOD).
- Supports Manufacturing Operations: Assists with additional production activities, including conformal coat touch-up and other manufacturing tasks, to support changing production priorities and customer demands.
- Maintains a Safe Work Environment: Keeps workstations organized, follows ESD and quality control procedures, and promotes a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment.
- Collaborates Across Production: Works in multiple production areas as needed, supporting manufacturing teams to meet production schedules and business objectives.
- Contributes to Continuous Success: Demonstrates flexibility by performing additional manufacturing duties and supporting team initiatives that improve productivity and product quality.
YOU’RE AWESOME AT:
- Electronic Assembly: Experienced in assembling electronic and mechanical components using detailed work instructions, engineering documentation, and precision hand tools.
- Quality and Attention to Detail: Takes pride in producing high-quality work, following ESD best practices, identifying defects, and maintaining strict quality standards.
- Manufacturing Processes: Understands modern fabrication, assembly techniques, and manufacturing documentation while maintaining accurate production records.
- Teamwork and Reliability: Works effectively with manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and adapts to changing production priorities.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 or more years of manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing work instructions.
- Effective verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of modern fabrication and electronic assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of ESD best practices and manufacturing quality control processes.
- Proficiency using a variety of hand tools.
- Ability to work overtime based on business needs.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The starting rate for this position ranges from $26.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, Innoflight offers a well-rounded compensation package that includes a Profit-Sharing Bonus and a Cash Performance Bonus to reward both individual and company performance.
