A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Program Planner/Scheduler plays a crucial role in supporting the development of space products by implementing standard processes and tools for program planning. This position is essential in coordinating efforts to ensure that all program objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Handles Scheduling Tasks: Prepares, develops, and coordinates the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring alignment with program goals and timelines.
- Tracks Project Progress: Monitors plans and schedules, performing risk analysis and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts to keep projects on track.
- Facilitates Cross-Functional Integration: Ensures that major projects and program schedules are synchronized across various functional groups, including finance, engineering, material manufacturing, and quality.
- Analyzes Schedule Data: Manages the information within the IMS, leveraging experience to interpret and analyze schedule and cost data for informed decision-making.
- Utilizes Project Management Techniques: Applies Gantt charts, Critical Path methods, and earned value management to assess project performance and identify variances.
- Supports Regular Reviews: Facilitates weekly and monthly reviews of IMS status and metrics, providing detailed analysis to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance.
- Communicates Effectively: Maintains professional communication with stakeholders, presenting complex information clearly to management and team members.
- Anticipates Project Needs: Proactively identifies and addresses potential scheduling conflicts and risks to enhance overall project execution.
- Performs Other Duties: Takes on additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the broader program objectives.
YOU’RE AWESOME AT:

- Risk Management: Conducting thorough risk analysis and mitigating issues that affect the schedule.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working effectively with program management, technical teams, production, and finance to ensure project integration.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in program planning or scheduling.
- In-depth understanding of planning fundamentals, including Cost/Schedule Integration and Schedule Analysis.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Project and the MS Office Suite.
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Critical Path management, and Schedule Risk Analysis.
- Familiarity with DoD programs and scheduling for product development cycles is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, Innoflight offers a well-rounded compensation package that includes a Profit-Sharing Bonus and a Cash Performance Bonus to reward both individual and company performance.
